THE SCIENCE

This revolutionary molecule is created by grafting a fatty chain onto salicylic acid. This facilitates superior interaction with the skin, promoting faster cellular regeneration, unclogging pores and  allowing for greater penetration which means more accurate, targeted and enduring action.

THE SOLUTIONS

La Roche-Posay has incorporated the amazing exfoliating and purifying properties of LHA in combination with glycolic and salicylic acids in their Biomedic products and treatments. Especially after the summer season when regular use of sunscreen mixed with the humidty might have created congestion, roughness or breakouts, to the rescue is Biomedic’s LHA Cleansing Gel, Solution and Serum to provide effective correction and daily maintenance. They can be used every morning and night, offering dramatic results that include reduction of dark spots and fine lines, softer skin and clearer complexion.

THE PRODUCTS

LHA Cleansing Gel
Thoroughly cleanses and gently begins the exfoliation process. Contains 0.2% LHA, 3.5% Glycolic Acid, 0.2% Salicylic Acid

LHA Solution
A daily solution to tone before applying the serum . Also, maybe used to prep the skin before in office peels to enhance the exfoliation process. Contains 0.25% LHA, 0.2% Salicylic Acid, 3.5% Glycolic Acid

LHA Serum
An intense keratolytic treatment, with an exclusive compound of active ingredients for more targeted micro-exfoliation. Contains 0.45% LHA, 3.5% Glycolic Acid, 4.0% A.P.F. (Activating Proteasis Factor  stimulates the skin’s natural enzymatic exfoliation.)

LHA Peel
Chemical peel containing 5% or 10% LHA for an effective correction of the signs of aging and skin imperfections as well as acne. The procedure is performed in the New York office of Dr Brad Katchen.
